I grayed down the water and added more color changes in the figures of the children. I still see a few minor changes I will make, but overall I think this is a more effective painting. If you have questions, comments, or would like to purchase this painting,

POLKA DOT PRINCESS AT THE BEACH... OIL QUICK STUDY by ELIZABETH BLAYLOCK
10 X 8 OIL ON WOOD HARDBOARD CANVAS PANEL
I did a lot of playing on this figurative beach scene of a little girl...and it was pretty quick except for the face. As it is back-lit,and there were only two values in the face and the description had to be done with soft, same value, color changes. LOL at the yellow polka dot right smack in the middle of the painting!

OIL PAINTING COMMISSION OF FAMILY AT THE BEACH by ELIZABETH BLAYLOCK
24 x 30 OIL ON STRETCHED CANVAS
This figurative oil painting of a beautiful family enjoying the beach was the type of commission I like to do.
This art collector told me she loved my work and to paint it in my impressionistic style however I would like.
I was provided with photos and great descriptions so, I felt as if I knew them already even tho we had never met..
